Knowing that their love will not bear any fruit, CHING decides to put an end to her life. KWONG and MOON are in deep grief. MAY tells LAI that he regards her as his good friend. He suggests LAI to have treatment as early as possible. LAI quits her job and goes out with her parents. She tells them her situation and they are shocked. LAI leaves MAY a letter and goes away. MAY suspects that LAI will commit suicide.
